Jo Ann (Johnson) Hardison, daughter of Sam and Margaret Johnson, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2003 in Houston, Texas. Born on July 18, 1947 in Pampa, Texas, Jo Ann graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas in 1965, and was mother to two loving sons and three loving daughters. She is survived by her husband, Wade, two sons, Scott and Ryan Petty, her three daughters, Shalee, Jessica and Teresa Hardison, a sister Linda Perdue and her husband Malcolm Perdue, and nephew Jason Perdue.
In addition to being a caring and affectionate wife and mother, Jo Ann had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles. The freedom of the road, and wind blowing through her hair took her to exhilarating heights. Jo Ann was a proud chapter member of the following Harley Owner Groups: Area #1, Cut-N-Shoot, Republic, and The Woodlands. She was one of the January 2003 Harley's Angels supporting Breast Cancer Research, and also an active committee member of the Bikers For Babies for the March of Dimes. She was devout in her belief in the humane treatment of animals, and would go to great lengths to protect them.
We will miss you dearly, JoAnn "REDLINE".
